Altadena Girls Charity offering hope to teen girls

In the face of nearly a totally devastated, fire ravaged city after the Eaton fire, this 14 year old resident of Altadena, California took it upon herself to not sit back and watch, but take action to support her fellow teen girls. Avery, a fourteen year old student from Altadena, started her non-profit and in less than a week had donated thousands of care packages to female residents in need all with the support of local volunteers and donations from the community and even local celebrities and major brands.

Her dedication and fierce determination to be a force for good amid so much devastation has garnered the attention of major media outlets like Vogue Magazine, the LA Times and KTLA and more. Avery and her team of volunteers prove that even the youngest person can be a force for change and good in the world. Keep an eye out for our podcast and interviews with the Altadena Girls team.
